Pressure-Reducing Station Hydro Power Module
A 75 kW Siapro Francis turbine in a 20 ft container, recovering energy that a water network's pressure-reducing station was losing across a valve.

- $350,000
Description
Every day, water moving through a pressure-reducing station was losing its pressure across a valve. We saw the chance to put that energy to work.
The challenge was a network where pressure and flow swing widely through the day, so we matched a 75 kW Siapro Francis turbine to the range of conditions the site actually sees. We built it into a compact 20 ft container with the controls, protection and a coating system selected for potable water applications.
After testing, we sent it out ready to connect, then supervised installation and commissioning. The project is complete, and that pressure now turns a generator.
