Description

Light vehicles at a mine come back with dust, or with sticky clay after rain. Whitehaven needed a wash at Maules Creek that could handle up to 150 light vehicles per 10-hour shift, using the site’s existing sump and as little civil work as possible.

On this $730,000 project, we designed a fixed, relocatable ConLine KIT Plus 600B (Custom), a custom MobyDick demucking system. It’s a drive-through unit with low-pressure, high-volume nozzles on both sides, and a loop sensor starts the wash automatically.

We supplied the wash system, controls, freshwater rinse arch and traffic lights. We also supplied a steel sub-base and ramps, then installed and commissioned the system. It’s now operating successfully at site.
