PROJECT: Weed & Seed Wash System

DURATION: 16-18 weeks

DESCRIPTION: Wash Systems Australia supplied and commissioned a 4m long automated wash system in Shoalwater Bay QLD. The wash system is a hot-dip galvanized, water carrying wash unit with splash protection side walls. The splash walls have triple nozzle bars (4m long) on both sides made from galvanized steel. Each nozzle is 7mm in diameter and works on an oscillating function with low-pressure, high-volume output. This system was designed to wash up to 150 vehicles (15 tonne axle load) over a 10-hour shift.

CHALLENGES: Wash Systems Australia navigated strict biosecurity regulations regarding Weed & Seed compliance to ensure the system was fit for purpose. There were also strict industry regulations that WSA had to consider while completing this project.
